A f\u0171szeres az ablakba n\u00e9h\u00e1ny cukors\u00fcveget rakott, de olykor-olykor az \u00fcres l\u00e1d\u00e1kat \u00e9s hord\u00f3kat is kitette az \u00fczlet bej\u00e1rata el\u00e9, hogy l\u00e1ssa a n\u00e9p: friss \u00e1ru \u00e9rkezett! Az id\u00e9nynek megfelel\u0151en nagyb\u00f6jtben heringes hord\u00f3k, tavasszal vet\u0151magokkal telt zs\u00e1kok akad\u00e1lyozt\u00e1k \u00fatjukban a j\u00e1rdatapos\u00f3kat.\"<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Az Elef\u00e1ntos, vagy \u201e<em>Bihalyos<\/em>\u201d bolt tulajdonosa Intz\u00e9dy Soma volt. A Felvid\u00e9kr\u0151l 1855-ben, 15 \u00e9vesen, \u00e9rkezett V\u00e1cra, s \u00e1llt be dolgozni nagyb\u00e1tyja f\u0171szer\u00fczlet\u00e9be. 1864-ben \u00f6n\u00e1ll\u00f3s\u00edtotta mag\u00e1t, \u00e9s f\u0171szer\u00fczletet nyitott, \u00e1tv\u00e9ve az egykori Bodendorfer-f\u00e9le \u00fczletet, majd ben\u0151s\u00fclt a Tragor csal\u00e1dba.<\/p>\n<p>He owned both the elephant shop and the house. In addition to the shop, he lived an active social life. He was a city councilor and a member of several civil organizations, and he did a lot of charity work. After his death in 1923, his son took over the business. In 1935, the house and the shop changed hands. L\u00e1szl\u00f3 Drajk\u00f3, a Budapest grocer with ties to V\u00e1c, bought it. He kept the shop's sign. Today, only the sign reminds us that one of the most famous grocers in V\u00e1c once operated in the building.<\/p>\n<p>The house retained its commercial function for a long time, for example, in the 1980s it housed the Casual Goods store. On the ground floor, to the left of the main gate, a bakery still operates today.
