1994-ben V\u00e1con, amikor a Domonkos templom helyre\u00e1ll\u00edt\u00e1si munk\u00e1latai sor\u00e1n a templom alatti kripta t\u00f6bb, mint 150 \u00e9vvel ezel\u0151tt elfalazott lej\u00e1rat\u00e1ra bukkantak az \u00e9p\u00edt\u0151k. A megtal\u00e1lt kript\u00e1ban 262, t\u00f6bbnyire j\u00f3 \u00e1llapot\u00fa sz\u00ednes, d\u00edsz\u00edtett kopors\u00f3ban a 18. sz\u00e1zad k\u00f6z\u00e9ps\u0151 harmad\u00e1t\u00f3l kezd\u0151d\u0151en, illetve a 19. sz\u00e1zad elej\u00e9n elhunyt \u00e9s betemetett, a k\u00fcl\u00f6nleges kl\u00edm\u00e1nak k\u00f6sz\u00f6nhet\u0151en j\u00f3 \u00e1llapotban fennmaradt, spont\u00e1n mumifik\u00e1l\u00f3dott v\u00e1ci polg\u00e1rok testei nyugodtak; f\u00e9rfiak, n\u0151k, gyermekek, mesteremberek, szerzetesek, papok, katonatisztek, hivatalnokok…<\/strong><\/p>\n

A meredek l\u00e9pcs\u0151n a h\u0171v\u00f6s \u00e9s m\u00e9ly pinc\u00e9be leereszked\u0151 l\u00e1togat\u00f3t a korabeli kripta k\u00e9pe mellett azon v\u00e1ci polg\u00e1rok n\u00e9vsora fogadja, akiket kopors\u00f3feliratuk alapj\u00e1n siker\u00fclt beazonos\u00edtani. A lej\u00e1ratt\u00f3l balra es\u0151 kisteremben a kopors\u00f3kb\u00f3l el\u0151ker\u00fclt szakr\u00e1lis mell\u00e9kletek (fesz\u00fcletek, r\u00f3zsaf\u00fcz\u00e9rek, kegy\u00e9rmek) ker\u00fcltek bemutat\u00e1sra.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Ez\u00e1ltal a l\u00e1togat\u00f3k betekint\u00e9st nyerhetnek a 18. sz\u00e1zad v\u00e9gi, 19. sz\u00e1zad eleji temetkez\u00e9si, ravataloz\u00e1si szok\u00e1sokba.
